Frequently asked questions

How the pilot, customization, and self-hosting work.

What are custom AI code review agents?

We'll help you set up and manage AI code review agents tuned to your app, your codebase, and the things your team actually cares about catching.

How does the 30-day pilot work?

We open a shared chat channel with your TestDriver Experts, deploy TestDriver to your repo, and get your suite running. We make sure your first tests are merged and that TestDriver keeps adding tests after that. We also help you configure your VMs and any customization you need, and build the process around it. Your first month is the pilot; the monthly subscription only starts 30 days later, and you can cancel any time before then.

What does the money-back guarantee cover?

If TestDriver isn't working for your team, tell your expert in your shared channel within 30 days of checkout and we'll refund the pilot month in full. The refund ends the services and cancels the subscription, and it applies once per team. The exact terms are in Section 6 of the Enterprise Terms.

What kind of customization do you support?

Windows machines, custom VM images, custom context, running on your own infrastructure, bringing your own AI keys, and custom prompts and data integrations.

What does Unlimited Testing Minutes mean?

When you self-host TestDriver, you bring your own keys and manage your own infrastructure, so there are no testing minutes to meter and no overage.

How is this more secure?

You deploy to your own infrastructure, so your code and test data stay in your environment and never leave it.

What does expert setup and support include?

You communicate directly with the TestDriver team in Slack, Teams, or wherever your team already works. Your experts help you get set up, investigate failures, and file bug reports.

How does self-hosting work?

You deploy TestDriver to your own AWS account, and your experts walk you through it. The full guide is in the self-hosting docs.

Do I need to self-host?

No. You can run on TestDriver's cloud instead, but then you're subject to standard Pro billing for testing minutes.

What limits are there?

Two: how many tests can run at the same time, which we agree with you during setup, and how long we keep your test data and recordings.

Self-hosting is covered in full in the self-hosting docs. The pilot month and the money-back guarantee are governed by our Enterprise Terms, and everything else by our Platform Terms.
